Solving for a hypotenuse
The find the hypotenuse using The Pythagorean Theorem you have to plug the numbers in the equation. So a in this case you plug 6 in for a and 8 in for b. Then you would solve that and should get 100=c squared. Then you find the square root of 100 and get 10. C=10. So then the hypotenuse in the picture would be 10.
